Naturalist Forays
Sundays 2:00-3:00 pm
No Fee, although donations are greatly appreciated!
Pre-registration Required - limited number of participants
Inclement weather cancels the foray! No Dogs!
September 12 : Bountiful Bugs- Go on a quest for insects and their relatives.
September 19: Habitat Exploration- From field to stream lets go discover who and what lives in the diverse habitats of the nature center.
September 26: Creepy Crawly Herps- Woods, stream, lake, ponds- lets go see what reptiles and amphibians are to be found.
October 10th:Clues and Critters- Who was here? Why? Lets go find out
October 17th: Wonderful Wander- Check Out seasonal Changes as we walk to make discoveries
October 24th: Leaf Peeping- Check out the seasonal changing of leaves
October 31st: Who's Out there- Employ your sense of adventure and search for tracks and signs of critters
November 7th: Winter is Coming- check out seasonal changes and adaptions of plants and animals in our area.
